A firm favourite here at PTH is this very unusual hardware store trade sign, constructed of zinc and glass and in the form of a Hot Air Balloon. A very rare example which retains its original polychromed finish to the zinc. A wonderfully sculptural piece with huge folk art appeal. French, c.1900.
