A Notice board to notice!
A wonderfull large scale notice board for the renowned Sheffield steel cutlery makers ‘Wingfield Robotham & Co” with a beautiful reverse painted glass header board that sits above a glazed section. The glazed sections back panel unscrews to reveal a corked backboard to which notices were applied. A beautiful piece that would have sat proudly outside the head offices, Tenter street, Sheffield. English, c.1880.
